Editorial Staff 2025-2026
Maggie Buck (any pronouns)
Maggie is a junior pre-vet biochemistry and microbiology double major from Senatobia, MS with aspirations to be a veterinary epidemiologist. This is their third year on the editorial staff. They read, bake, and goof around with their friends in their free time.
Grace Conners (she/her)
Grace Connors is a freshman studying elementary education who enjoys being outdoors, reading, art, traveling, time with friends and family, and music. This is her first year on the editorial staff and is looking forward to being part of the creation of this spring's journal!
Jennifer Greer
Jennifer is a senior majoring in Chemistry. This is their first year with The Streetcar.
Matthew Gunn
Matthew is a senior majoring in Biological Sciences. This is their first year with The Streetcar.
Kamree Howard (she/her)
Kamree is a sophomore majoring in Psychology and minoring in Creative Writing. She has a love for poetry and fiction. She dreams of publishing her own pieces in the future. She enjoys crocheting, reading, writing, and drawing. This is her first year on the editorial staff, and she's hoping for many more!
Jacob McGee (he/him)
Jacob is a junior majoring in Wildlife, Fisheries and Aquaculture, from Hinds county, Mississippi. He has been a member of the editorial team for the streetcar since freshman year. Jacob loves reading odd, creative, and contemporary literature; so, becoming an editor for a journal that receives such pieces was a wonderful decision.
Mary Evelyn McLemore (she/her)
Mary Evelyn is an Anthropology major with a minor in Classics. She enjoys embroidery, tea, poetry, and going on little adventures with her friends. This is her second year on editorial, and she is having a wonderful time!
Ava Grace Noe
Ava Grace is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science. This is their first year with The Streetcar.
Jay Snodgrass (they/them)
Jay is a third-year architecture student who enjoys Dungeons & Dragons, film and digital photography, and conceptual design. Their favorite way to spend an afternoon is sitting in a field to look at bugs or read a good book, and they love listening to a wide range of music (from Wilco to Jesse Welles and beyond), especially if it's on vinyl. This is their third year on staff and second year as Photography Editor.
Luke Salisbury (he/him)
Luke Salisbury is a Mechanical Engineering major from Long Beach, MS. This is his second year on the editorial staff for the journal, and he is excited to help with this amazing journal.
Sam Spitzer (he/him)
Sam is a sophomore accounting student from Lawrenceville, Georgia. This is his first year as an editor for the Streetcar, and he enjoys literature, history, and movies of all kinds (particularly science fiction).
Jayne Opiela (she/her)
Jayne Opiela is a Junior pre-med Biomedical Engineering major from Slidell, Lousisana. This is her second year on the editorial staff. She enjoys reading sci-fi novels and crocheting in her free time.
